Day Nursery Indianapolis Friday Faces

Here’s a great Friday Faces shot courtesy of  teacher Alex Groves of our Day Nursery Northwest Center in Pike Township. The infants in her room were having fun enjoying exploring the foam blocks together that Miss Alex set out for them.  While we don’t have any openings for infants at this time at Day Nursery Northwest, we are accepting names for the waiting list. We do, however, have openings for toddlers and preschoolers through age 6.  Call 291-8048 for more information.Three Day Nursery infants sitting on floor playing with foam blocks.

Too Cute Tuesday: Splash Day at Day Nursery Ruth A. Lilly Center

While today’s a bit cloudy, the children at the Day Nursery Ruth A. Lilly Center on Central Avenue have had many beautiful days this month to enjoy their newly remodeled playground.  In their early years, children explore the world around them by using all their senses (touching, tasting, listening, smelling, and looking) and splash day offers many opportunities to explore and pretend.

These “Too Cute Tuesday” pictures feature a recent playground splash day on the playground designed just for infants and toddlers.

Too Cute Tuesday: Day Nursery IU Health Center infants

It’s Too Cute Tuesday at Day Nursery and that means we are featuring pictures of Day Nursery students.  Today, our pictures come from Day Nursery IU Health Early Care and Education Center Director Charity Jablonski.  She wanted to share pictures of the babies in the Infant 3 classroom enjoying some tummy time, making faces, and looking in the mirror.  Their teacher is Ms. Chelsea.

Sweet fun for Day Nursery Federal Center infants

Day Nursery infants enjoy experience with art

Through their senses and actions, infants learn about objects, what they do, and what to expect. This little guy was painting on bubble wrap this morning in the new infant room at our Ruth A. Lilly Center. For infants and toddlers, art activities are sensory-motor experiences that build a foundation for appreciating and creating beauty.
