Adding some words to our Wordless Wednesday post

I heard from Marla Segal, Director of our Northwest Center after posting the cute picture of the infants at her center in this week’s “Wordless Wednesday” post.  She wanted to share more about what goes on in the infant room each day and to give some background on what was happening when I snapped the picture. Marla said, “Ms. Faythe Fisher and Ms. Karen Brown like to have the children sit face to face when they are eating and doing art projects.”   This part of their daily routine reinforces the social goals of the The Creative Curriculum®: to help children feel comfortable at school, trust their new enviroment, make friends and feel they are part of the group.  Early learning starts with the youngest children at Day Nursery.
